Independent Home Inspection
The most compelling reasons for a home inspection is objectivity. Most of us have an innate desire for things to work out for the best. Due to the increasing complexity of the world we live in, “best” may often mean simpler, less complicated, or less time consuming. Although entirely natural this may hinder our objectivity and we may overlook important benchmarks for our buying decisions.
My name is Bob Kenney and at Independent Home Inspection I recognize the myriad of emotions that may surround the home buying decision. Each participant will have a different need and may desire conflicting outcomes.
As an unattached participant I can offer my clients a truly objective and honest report of the homes current condition. My fee is never determined by the outcome of the inspection nor am I obligated by any associations other than the ethics and personal integrity required of my profession.
Plan on spending at least three hours while I examine the property and address your questions and concerns. Many times questions will be asked and answered that might not even occur to you if you had not been present.
My report evaluates the physical condition of the structure, interior and exterior construction and the related mechanical systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) It identifies sytems that need to be repaired or replaced and estimates the life of major systems, equipment, structure and finishes.
Pictures and comprehensive narrative accurately identify systems and components.
I am always available (call, text, or e-mail) to answer any questions that might arise before or after the inspection and would be happy to hear from you.
Completed reports are available the following day and emailed in an easily searchable PDF format.
